The Brief

Jahna Concrete marked its 100-year milestone with 12 Hours of Jahna, a celebration at Sebring International Raceway honoring the company's history, employees, and community.

Working through Branca Media, I contributed to the event's creative and marketing efforts, developing a commemorative identity and creating social content around the celebration.

The Centennial Identity

A commemorative logo developed for Jahna Concrete's 100-year celebration, incorporating racing-inspired details to connect the company's milestone with the event at Sebring International Raceway.

Exploring the Identity

The design process involved exploring several visual directions, from bold numerical compositions to concepts incorporating concrete trucks and racing references.

Each variation approached the celebration differently, balancing Jahna's industrial roots with the energy of the event. The exploration ultimately moved toward a simpler identity that placed the established Jahna wordmark and centennial message at the forefront.

Seeing the commemorative identity move from a digital design into the event itself was one of the most rewarding parts of the project.

The logo appeared across physical touchpoints, including event signage and printed booklets, becoming part of how guests encountered the celebration.

These applications gave the identity a presence beyond the screen, connecting the creative work to the event experience.

Capturing the Moment

During the public portion of 12 Hours of Jahna, I created a short video capturing the atmosphere of the event and the community coming together to celebrate Jahna Concrete's milestone.

Published on Jahna Concrete's Facebook page, the video reached approximately 5.4K views, ranking second by views among six campaign Reels reviewed. It also generated 108 reactions, 7 comments, and 11 shares, reflecting the audience's response to a people-focused glimpse of the celebration.

This project gave me the opportunity to see my creative work become part of a real celebration, from the first logo concepts to the finished event materials. It also reinforced the value of capturing the people and moments behind a brand's story.
